In Kerr County, many businesses were affected by the flooding on July 4, 2025. The Kerrville Chamber of Commerce Foundation reports that 330 businesses were impacted and 28 have since closed.

The foundation has provided financial assistance to over 300 businesses, giving away $2.3 million in grants. However, some of these businesses have still closed, including four that received grants.
