A San Antonio nurse, Sarah Danh, has spoken publicly for the first time after falling critically ill on her honeymoon in Japan. She experienced acute liver failure and required a ventilator and dialysis.

Her condition was severe enough to put her into a coma, but she is now awake and in rehab. The cause of her illness is currently unknown.
