Meet Badger and Banjo: NDOW’s trained dogs help keep Nevada’s black bears wild

In Nevada, the state's wildlife department has a unique approach to managing black bears that wander into neighborhoods. Trained dogs are used to help keep these bears wild.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife may deploy these dogs when a black bear becomes too comfortable near homes. The dogs are named Badger and Banjo.
