A parasitic infection outbreak in Michigan has grown to over 1,000 cases. The infection causes weeks of watery diarrhea, but no deaths have been reported.

The source of the cyclospora infections remains unknown. Michigan typically sees around 50 cases per year, but this outbreak is the largest in state history.
