Small robots will be used to assess the accessibility of sidewalks. The robots, called Daxbot, will scan key areas to check for ADA compliance. They will measure various factors, including slopes, widths, curb ramps, and surface issues.

The data collected by the robots will be mapped to identify areas that need upgrades. A total of 12 miles of sidewalks will be scanned.

Further details, including the launch date, are not yet available, but more information can be found through the source.
